Service 04 · Extraction, structural drying, Category 3 sanitation
Water, Flood & Sewage Remediation
Wood warps. Drywall disintegrates. Electrical components short. And after roughly 24 hours, mould starts, and most carriers will not pay to remove it. Time is the whole job.

Summary
Water is a damaging element, and damage caused by water in a home or building is one of the largest sources of insurance company claims in the United States. The quicker it is dealt with, the better the outcome. That is not a sales line, it is the entire economics of the job.
Your policy also requires you to take reasonable steps to reduce the damage. Prompt action lessens the cost, protects your claim, and keeps a water loss from becoming a mould loss that your carrier may not cover at all.
What the work covers
Emergency extraction
Standing water removed with truck-mounted and portable extraction, including from carpet, pad and cavity spaces.
Sewage and Category 3 water
Backups, sewer intrusion and flood water are treated as grossly contaminated. Affected porous material is removed rather than dried, and the space is disinfected before drying begins.
Structural drying
Dehumidifiers, air movers and injection drying into wall cavities and under flooring, with moisture readings logged daily until the structure holds a dry standard.
Selective demolition
Saturated drywall, insulation, subfloor and cabinetry cut back to sound material where drying in place is not achievable.
Mould prevention
Antimicrobial treatment of exposed substrate, so the drying period does not become a growth period.

On cost
Water losses are the most commonly covered work we do. We document to the standard adjusters expect (readings, equipment logs, photographs and scope), and we deal with the carrier directly so you are not translating between us.
Out of pocket, most jobs
$0
Most people we work for pay nothing out of pocket.
Most of our services, crime scene cleanup included, are covered by homeowners insurance. Where a crime has been committed, remediation for eligible victims and their families may be covered by the New York State Office of Victim Services. We work with the carrier directly.
The assessment is free and it happens before any work is agreed. You get a written scope, and you get told honestly which route applies, including when the answer is that nothing here is claimable.
After a tragedy you should not be left with the aftermath of a tragedy and a bill. That has been this company's position since it started.
