MRSA & Superbug Decontamination
MRSA does not care how healthy your members are. Pools, hot tubs, locker rooms, restrooms, schools, day care centres and playgrounds are all breeding grounds, and it can spread through one within hours.

Licensed & certified
Summary
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus was once almost entirely a healthcare-setting problem. Newer strains moved into ordinary public life, and the places people share (changing rooms, mats, benches, handles, taps, keyboards) are where it moves.
OSHA distinguishes between an infectious disease, meaning illness resulting from invasion of the body by a bacterium, virus, fungus or parasite, and a communicable disease, meaning one readily spread from person to person. Communicable disease spreads two ways: direct contact with infected fluid or blood, and indirect contact, where an infected person contaminates an object and the object infects the next person. Indirect transmission is what a decontamination programme is aimed at.
All Island Bio-Recovery runs a supersanitisation programme for schools, sports clubs and teams, tailored to each facility. And we run it before an incident as well as after one. The maintenance version is far cheaper than the outbreak version.
What the work covers
Outbreak response
Rapid treatment of a facility after a confirmed case, targeted at the surfaces and equipment the affected person used.
Locker rooms and wet areas
Tiled floors, benches, lockers, showers and every touchable surface sprayed and pressure-washed with a disinfectant registered against MRSA.
Day care and classroom treatment
All touchable surfaces treated with an MRSA-effective disinfectant, on a schedule that works around the timetable.
Scheduled maintenance programmes
Recurring treatment for facilities that want the risk managed rather than reacted to.
Staff consultation
We advise agencies and their staff on facility changes and daily maintenance procedures that lower infection risk between our visits.
How the job runs
- 01Facility walk-throughWe map the traffic and the touch points. A gym and a nursery need different programmes even at the same square footage.
- 02Programme designFrequency, chemistry, method and scheduling written up specifically for the site.
- 03TreatmentSpray, wipe and pressure-wash application depending on the surface, using EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant.
- 04Equipment and soft goodsMats, padding, upholstery and shared equipment treated rather than skipped.
- 05Staff briefingA short handover so your own cleaning staff know what to maintain and how.
- 06Return visitsScheduled repeat treatment where a maintenance programme is in place.

On cost
We will say this plainly: no cleaning or disinfection programme eliminates all bacteria, good or bad. What a properly designed programme does is reduce the load and cut the chance of spread. Anyone promising sterility in a working locker room is selling you something.
Out of pocket, most jobs
$0
Most people we work for pay nothing out of pocket.
Most of our services, crime scene cleanup included, are covered by homeowners insurance. Where a crime has been committed, remediation for eligible victims and their families may be covered by the New York State Office of Victim Services. We work with the carrier directly.
The assessment is free and it happens before any work is agreed. You get a written scope, and you get told honestly which route applies, including when the answer is that nothing here is claimable.
After a tragedy you should not be left with the aftermath of a tragedy and a bill. That has been this company's position since it started.
