All Island Bio-Recovery handles each job with expertise, professionalism and discretion, with as little interruption as possible to your home, your business or your patrons. Our staff practises safety first, and the point of the work is simple: turn a dismal situation back into a safe and habitable space.
We are licensed by the EPA and the New York State DMV to transport and haul medical and hazardous waste, and licensed by NYSDEC as a medical waste hauler. That matters more than it sounds. It means what comes out of your property leaves on our manifest, in our vehicle, to a licensed facility, not in a subcontractor's van under someone else's paperwork.
We are part of Bio Recovery Corporation, whose work has been covered by the New York Times, CNN, the Daily News and ABC News.

Most people we work for pay nothing out of pocket.
Most of our services, crime scene cleanup included, are covered by homeowners insurance. Where a crime has been committed, remediation for eligible victims and their families may be covered by the New York State Office of Victim Services. We work with the carrier directly.
The assessment is free and it happens before any work is agreed. You get a written scope, and you get told honestly which route applies, including when the answer is that nothing here is claimable.
After a tragedy you should not be left with the aftermath of a tragedy and a bill. That has been this company's position since it started.
L-02 · Non-profit housing provider
To the Staff at All Island, We are a small non-profit that provides housing with supportive services to formerly homeless women. We are lucky that in our eleven years we never needed a service like yours until recently and even more luckily that when we did need such a service, we found your company.
One of our tenants died in her bedroom in an apartment she shared with three other women. It seems to have been suicide. Our staff has had to deal with their own feelings of guilt and anger while at the same time working with our other tenants who knew and were friends with this woman. Added to that, the amount of paperwork and general administrative headache in a situation like this is astonishing. On top of that, there was the physical site to consider. It was such a relief to have professionals to take care of what turned out to be an especially difficult job.
Everyone we worked with was pleasant, professional, and went above and beyond. The work you do is so important and so useful. There is no way we could have done the work as quickly, as safely, or as well. It has spared our staff a great deal of trauma.
